The very best whoopie pie that I have ever had. They are sweet, moist and extremely favorable. They are addictive. I could eat two or three at a time but have to limit myself to one every three days. Will order them over and over again.
During my recent travels throughout the state of Maine, I tried many of the local whoopie pies, that I could get my hands on. I even went to the Whoopie Pie fest in Dover-Foxcroft. By the end of my journey, Labadie's, (I had visited their bakery in Lewiston), became my favorite. I ordered 2 dozen, which arrived promptly. The chocolate cake part is scrumptious and moist, with the perfect amount of vanilla cream. YUMMY!!

These are the best whoopie pies I have tried and there have been several, even homemade. I plan to never order any others but these. They even freeze well.
We were having a family gathering Memorial Day weekend with family in from Chicago il, Dayton Ohio, Knoxville TN, Indianapolis IN. What else would Maine born people serve for lunch but Italian Sandwiches (using Sam's oil) and Labadie's Whoopie Pies! They were Awesome, just like I remembered them, and a huge hit with all!

Warm Weather: Our whoopie pies are packaged to travel well. If they arrive warm, simply refrigerate them for 3–4 hours or freeze them for about 2 hours before serving—they'll be just as delicious.
Storage: Best enjoyed within 7 days of receipt. For longer storage, freeze for up to 6 months. Thaw at room temperature for about 4 hours before serving.
