Our Story
A Legacy Since 1925
Labadie’s Bakery has been a cornerstone of Lewiston, Maine, since 1925. Located at 161 Lincoln Street, in the heart of what locals call "Little Canada," the bakery's roots are intertwined with the vibrant history of the area. During the early 20th century, Lewiston was bustling with shoe manufacturers and textile mills, drawing thousands of French Canadians to settle here and form a tight-knit, French-speaking community.
Birthplace of Maine’s Whoopie Pie
