5 WHOOPIE PIE COMBO DOZEN

My friend Stephen in Los Angeles was just finishing up a successful (!) treatment for cancer when I sent him the combo (six each of chocolate cake with white and peanut butter filling), and he was thrilled to get this sinfully delicious dessert. I told him that he didn't have to share them with anyone, and that he could freeze them and remove them -- one at a time -- whenever he needed a treat. On his card, I wrote, "In Maine, all crises are met, and all victories celebrated, with the help of a Whoopie Pie from Labadie's Bakery."

These are the BEST whoopie pies. They were sent as a gift. Recipient loved them. Not even a crumb was left uneaten.
